LemonLime Terms of Service
DRAFT for review by a lawyer before launch. Not legal advice. Placeholders in [brackets] need real values. Last updated: [date].
These terms are an agreement between you and [Rahimi Enterprises legal name, address] ("LemonLime", "we", "us") for using the hosted LemonLime service at lemonlime.dev and its dashboard, desktop app and cloud sandboxes (the "Service"). The LemonLime software itself is open source under the MIT licence; these terms cover only the hosted Service.
1. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. Keep your sign-in codes and access tokens to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, and able to agree to these terms (or have your organisation agree).
2. What the Service does
LemonLime runs AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode) for you, on your own computer or in isolated cloud sandboxes we host. The agents use your own model accounts or API keys. We don't provide, resell or bill model usage, and your use of those models is governed by your agreements with their providers.
3. Your code and content
You keep all rights to your code, prompts and anything the agents produce for you ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store and process Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you (for example, to clone a repository into a sandbox, keep a thread's history, or push a branch you asked for). We don't use Your Content to train models.
You're responsible for having the right to use the repositories, data and credentials you connect, and for reviewing what agents change before you rely on it. AI agents make mistakes; check their work.
4. Acceptable use
You won't use the Service, or let agents use it, to:
- mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads unrelated to software development (such as proxies, VPNs, scrapers at scale, or long-running servers for production traffic);
- send spam or unsolicited messages, or run denial-of-service, port scans or attacks against systems you don't own or have permission to test;
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or host malware, phishing or illegal content;
- get around usage limits, sandbox isolation or security controls, or access other people's accounts or data;
- resell the Service without our written permission.
We may pause sandboxes, limit network access, or suspend accounts that break these rules or put the Service or others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.
5. Plans, payment and refunds
Cloud sandboxes are paid by the hour of sandbox time, through monthly or yearly plans and optional top-ups, as shown on our pricing page. Local agents and self-hosting are free.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Plans renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time in the dashboard, effective at the end of the current period.
- Included hours reset each billing period and don't roll over. Top-up hours last for [365 days] from purchase. Large sandboxes use hours at twice the rate.
- When your hours run out, cloud sandboxes pause until you add hours or upgrade. Your threads and their sandboxes are kept.
- Refunds: if you're not happy, ask within [14 days] of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise, or if the Service was unavailable for a long stretch through our fault.
- Prices may change; we'll give you at least [30 days'] notice before a change affects your plan.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or stop parts of the Service; if we stop the Service entirely we'll give [60 days'] notice and refund unused prepaid time. Sandboxes and stored history for closed threads may be deleted after [30 days].
7. Third-party services
The Service connects to GitHub, model providers and sandbox infrastructure providers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for them.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When an account ends, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties about it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the [12 months] before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes go to the courts of [place], unless your local consumer law gives you other rights. If we change these terms we'll tell you at least [30 days] before the change takes effect. Questions: [support email].
